Clayt Brewer, Fulton Businessman retires after 30 years in the Oswego County Legislator. Brewer will be honored on Feb 6, at The Tavern on the Lock Restrurant in Fulton at 6pm.
The first meeting of the new year for the Oswego County Legislature is made up of formalities — routine appointments that must be made each year. Today, though, there’ll be discussion and perhaps action on a property tax deal involving the Nine Mile Point nuclear plants, and the appointment of a new Democratic Elections Commissioner, to replace Bill Scriber, who took a job at the Port of Oswego.
One of the County Legislature’s most outspoken members of the minority caucus lost his seat Tuesday. A leader of the majority Republican caucus may lose his seat as well. And voters sent four other new faces to the Legislature in one of the more dramatic nights of change for that body.
LeClair is a native Fultonian, and lives at 509 Pratt Street. She has three adult children, seven grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She is an active member of several community organizations. LeClair recently retired from the Oswego County Weeklies so she can devote more time and energy serving the people of Fulton and the greater Oswego County residents.

Sharon decided to run for Legislator in Oswego County District 23 after seeing what little the Oswego County Legislature did and more so not do in regards to the Erin Maxwell case, the eleven year old girl that met a tragic death in Palermo, August 2008.

Oswego County Legislature Chairman Barry Leemann presented a certificate to ARC of Oswego County and Oswego Industries, Inc. designating the week of September 14, 2009 as Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week.

The story of the play concerns four affluent couples who gather for a dinner party celebrating their host’s tenth wedding anniversary. So, The Players plan to allow the audience to participate in the anniversary celebration by inviting patrons to attend a wine, and cheese, party before the curtain and sampling a anniversary cake at intermission.
