While residents of Bishop’s Commons took up collections of items to fill care packages for soldiers serving overseas, local Girl Scouts joined in the support by donating dozens of boxes of Girl Scout cookies.
Mark McManus is a lucky man. He beat colorectal cancer and is fortunate to be able to talk about his experience. “If sharing my story inspires even one person to be screened for colorectal cancer it will be worth it,” he said.
The top three finishers in the school-wide competition are Anna Langlois (second place), Jeremy Braiman (first place) and Claudia Chetney (third place).
