New York Kite Enthusiasts members filled the skies above Fort Ontario with colorful kites, some traditional, others in the shape of cartoon characters and Chinese dragons. One man said that he could see the kites all the way from Rudy’s at The Loop in Oswego Town.
The winner of the annual “Cow Chip Bingo†said she will use the winnings to purchase some new clothes for her new job. The proceeds from the event will be used to support an annual scholarship in the memory of Harold “H†Dowd, a Fulton Lions Club member who passed away in September 2005.
