Police Seize Marijuana Plants Worth $50K From Sandy Creek
Members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office recently responded to Sand Road in the town of Sandy Creek where deputies seized 50 large marijuana plants between six and nine feet tall with a street value in excess of $50,000. The investigation continues.

Hannibal Boys Earn First Cross Country Win Of Season; Girls Fall To Ranked Teams
No complaints from Hannibal cross country coach Dan Pawlewicz about his boys varsity team’s loss to Westhill. After all, Westhill is ranked 4th in the state in Class B, 7th in all of Section III. And the close loss, 25-34, was tempered by the excitement over Hannibal’s first win of the season, 26-30, over Cazenovia in this three way meet.
