The Oswego YMCA today announces the kick-off of its 2010 Strong Kids campaign, a fundraising effort to increase support for the Oswego Y’s scholarship fund. Proceeds from the Strong Kids Campaign will fund scholarships that allow children and families who otherwise may not be able to, to benefit from family strengthening YMCA programs such as child care, day camp and programs for at-risk youth.
From now into early June, the Great Lakes Seaway Trail byway, with 518 miles of open water, feeder streams, backbays, and diverse shoreline habitat, becomes a fabulous flyway for spring bird migration.
His enthusiasm for his work made him a strong force in the development of the Fun Rock Café, the training center and cafeteria at Oswego Industries, Inc.; and of the first fundraising Gala for ARC of Oswego County. In his current position with National Institute for the Blind, Cas continues to assist people with disabilities in performing rewarding work.
Fulton Community Theatre and The Just Off-Broadway Players announce the revival of the popular Evening on Broadway series.
The show will feature great music from shows including Wicked, South Pacific, Sweet Charity, Chicago, My Fair Lady, Damn Yankees, Kismet, Mamma Mia, and many other Broadway smashes.
