Making plans for the fifth annual Seneca Hill Charity Walk to be  held Saturday, May 22 at the Seneca Hill Health Community are seated  from the left are Mary Gilbert, of the Oswego YMCA, and Teresa Ferlito,  Oswego Health Vice President and Springside at Seneca Hill’s Chief  Operating Officer. Standing from the left are Anne Benjamin,  Administrative Assistant at Springside at Seneca Hill, David Barber,  Oswego Health Director of Fund Development and Kim McPherson, of the  Fulton YMCA.Area walkers and runners can sign up for the fifth annual Seneca Hill Charity Walk to be held Saturday, May 22 at the Seneca Hill Health Community.

Oswego Health Takes Part in Fairgrieve Elementary Health/Science Fair

 Community members that visited Oswego Health’s booth at  Fairgrieve Elementary’s recent Health and Science Fair could look  through a microscope at petri dishes containing a positive flu test,  bacteria and blood. The healthcare system also demonstrated the correct  way to wear a bicycle helmet and explained the dangers of smoking.  Pictured, from the left are Melissa Maciejko, phlebotomy services  specialist; Rebecca Bettinger, R.N., community health nurse; and Erin  McKinstry, licensed practical nurse.  Oswego Healthcare system includes  the Oswego Hospital, The Manor at Seneca Hill, a skilled nursing  facility; Springside at Seneca Hill, a retirement living community; an  urgent care center in Fulton, as well as health services centers in  Mexico, Parish and now Phoenix. Oswego Health Behavioral Services Offers Education on Parenting Children with Mental Health Diagnoses

Staff from the Oswego Health’s Behavioral Service Department will  hold educational presentations on a variety of common parenting issues  specific to children diagnosed with mental health or emotional  disturbance during the year.  Among the staff presenters from the left  are Nurse Practitioner Kylie Lacey, and Child and Adolescent  Psychiatrists Mihai Simionescu, MD and Marija Mutabdzic, MD.Oswego Health’s Behavioral Services will hold educational presentations on a variety of common parenting issues specific to children diagnosed with mental health or emotional disturbance during the year.

Two Teens Charged In Connection With Robbery
