Rachel Clark is the proud recipient of a National Merit  Scholarship. Congratulating her for her accomplishments are her parents  John and Molly Clark, Oswego High School Executive Principal Patty  Oughterson and Superintendent of Schools Bill Crist.

Oswego High School senior Rachel Clark has earned the distinction of being named as a “National Merit Scholar” in the annual National Merit Scholarship competition.

Farmers’ Market Season Opens In Oswego

Linda Knowles stops to purchase some home grown produce from one  of the many vendors on hand for the first night of the 2010 market  season in Oswego.

The 2010 Oswego Farmers’ Market season got off to early start Thursday afternoon and was met with mixed reviews. For the most part, those visiting the market didn’t seem to mind the new 4 – 8 p.m. (instead of the usual 5 – p.m.) schedule.

The legislation increases from $200 to $1000 the value of goods that can be brought into the United States duty free and without customs entry procedures.
