A vehicle fire was reported Sunday night inside the City of Oswego Department of Public Works Garage on Mitchell Street. It resulted in extensive smoke damage to the building as well as several vehicles inside, according to Jeff McCrobie, fire chief.
Foster and adoptive families are needed in Oswego County for children who range in age from birth to 21. Children awaiting adoption typically are eight years old and older, and have special needs.

The Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund launched its annual fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $15,000 this fall. The Fund recently received a $15,000 challenge grant from the John Ben Snow Memorial Trust. The Snow Trust pledged to provide dollar-for-dollar matches for contributions received on or before December 1, 2010.
