Kathleen Harrington has been hired as an account executive with the FitzGibbons Agency, according to John FitzGibbons, president of the Oswego, New York insurance group.
Harrington, who holds a New York State Property and Casualty license, will provide local businesses with solutions to their property and casualty needs and offer quality customer service to manage all aspects of business insurance.
The United Way of Greater Oswego County’s Stuff-A-Bus campaign went into high gear recently when Burritt Motors of Oswego provided $1,500 worth of school supplies.
On Sept. 11, the Fulton Police Department will be distributing gun locks at the Fulton Farmers’ Market from 9 a.m. to noon.
Approximately 375 freshmen got their first lessons at Oswego High School on Monday. The OHS Class of 2014 was welcomed by administration, teachers and students for the annual freshmen orientation. Students received their 2010-11 class schedules and were able to meet with their guidance counselors and have their photos taken for their student ID badges. Tours of the school were offered and a picnic style dinner was provided for everyone.
The Oswego County Legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee recently presented the village of Pulaski with the first-place award in its annual best-tasting water contest.
