Mentor Ambulance has made a proposal to the town board to provide ambulance coverage from the sub station they are looking to purchase on County Route 7/Byer Road. Their proposal reportedly is at no cost to the town.
The Physical Services Committee made quick work of three resolutions Monday night. All were forwarded to the full council for consideration.

The local businessman was acquitted today on charges that he had sexual contact with a boy younger than 17 years old last fall. He was facing two misdemeanor charges.
The season for inclement weather has arrived and once again the Oswego City School District is preparing for emergency closing and delay situations. As in the past, a variety of communication venues will be used in the event that school is closed or delayed.
The Town of Oswego wants to cancel its existing ambulance services contract with the city. It would like to replace it with a monthly contract. The Administrative Services Committee rejected the proposal at its meeting Monday night.
Friends of the Library will host a fundraiser Monday, December 13, from 5-9 p.m. at Fajita Grill in Oswego. Fajita Grill will donate 10% of all sales, including takeout and delivery orders to the Friends of the Library during that time period.
John Manwaring and his three bands, Ampersand, Brace and Small Majority, recently held a fundraiser at McGillicuddy’s Pub & Lanes, 5863 Scenic Ave. in Mexico.
