Girl Scouts Set A Record

The Oswego Girl Scout Service Unit recently held their End Of The Year Ceremony to honor Girl Scouts of all ages. The celebration was a huge success and was attended by close to 150 people. It included numerous recognitions and awards for Girl Scouts as well as adult leaders and volunteers.

Youth Bureau Hosts Traveling Arts In The Parks This Summer

The Oswego City-County Youth Bureau announces its 2011 schedule for the Traveling Arts in the Parks series. Each event is free and open to the public. Glenn Colton kicks off the 2011 season with a 1 p.m. performance on July 5 at Scriba Town Park on O’Connor Road. Colton has performed thousands of energetic concerts for children, parents and teachers since 1992.

Kingford Park Alumni Receive Scholarship

Kingford Park Home and School Inc. awarded two scholarships in the amount of $500 each to KPS alumni Colin Morgan and Christopher Pike. This is the second year that KPS Home and School has awarded scholarship dollars to students who attended grades K – 6 at the elementary school.
