Catholic Charities of Oswego County’s second Annual Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament Fundraiser received some much-needed support recently as Burritt Motors in Oswego has signed on as a major sponsor of the event.
The Oswego school board has interceded on behalf of a building principal and his battle with the State Education Department and a former Oswego school superintendent. David Fischer (superintendent from January 2005 to June 2008), is asking the state to revoke Dean Goewey’s teaching and administrator licenses. Tuesday night, the Oswego school board passed a resolution asking the state to dismiss the proceedings.
