Dog Park Organizational Meeting Set

She said she is glad she decided to settle in Oswego because “it is such a beautiful city. We have historic buildings and museums, parks within walking distance of most residential neighborhoods, good schools, friendly people, a lovely lakefront and gorgeous sunsets. What more could you ask for?”

The H. Lee White Marine Museum and the Oswego Maritime Foundation invite the community to join them for a fun filled day on Aug. 6 from noon to 5 p.m. and help celebrate the New York State Barge Canal System.
A field of 51 teams took to the links for a day of golf and fun in the 16th Annual United Way Golf Tournament, held July 15 at the Greenview Country Club in West Monroe.
Awarded annually, the RHN of Oswego County scholarships are given to residents of Oswego County who are looking to further their career in the medical field.
“The port is an important part of business methodology for the companies that we handle. We are currently serving companies from markets as varied as manufacturing, clean energy and nuclear power,” the director explained.
Paige Renee Jackson was born in Oswego Hospital on July 22, 2011.
Dr. Faith Maina, a SUNY Oswego faculty member and a new Fulbright Scholar, looks forward to returning this school year to Kenya, her native land, as she seeks to build the research and writing skillsets of young Kenyan scholars.
