Crash in Star Lake Injures Fulton Father, Son

The silver van and red pickup truck hit head-on on the shoulder of the road.  Image courtesy WWNY-TV.A father and son from Fulton were injured in the North Country in a head-on crash with a van.

It happened, according to State Police, at a little after noon on Tuesday along Route 3 about a mile west of Star Lake.  Star Lake is about an hour east of Watertown.

Two Men Arrested after Crashing Car in Palermo

He saw three men walking along Island Road, carrying some items.

The men dropped the items and ran into the woods.

Fulton YMCA Welcomes CYO Participants

The Fulton YMCA recently invited participants in Catholic Charities’ CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program to beat the heat with an afternoon of swimming. In the front row are: Avery Stowell, Damien Hickman, Harlie Rose Roberts, Jacob Russell, Kyle Goutermout and Shane Goutermout. In back from left are: Executive Director of the Fulton YMCA, Betty Fadden, CYO Director Jim Smiley, CYO Mentor Coordinator, Stacie Roberts, Christine Khamis and Sheila Oakes.

Thanks to the generosity of the Fulton YMCA, youth participating in the CYO Summer Drop-in Recreation Program have been able to beat the heat with a trip to the Y’s swimming pool.
