The Family Fun Festival will feature a variety of fall themed games and activities including: pumpkin bowling, pumpkin ring toss, a bounce house, and plenty of arts and crafts projects. Refreshments such as apple cider, donuts and popcorn will also be available.

Contractors for SUNY Oswego reached a milestone Oct. 12 when they drilled the 240th and final geothermal well to help heat and cool the new Science and Engineering Innovation Corridor.
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Dan Farfaglia introduced Angela Cimilluca, a Public Health Coordinator for Oswego County.
On the recommendation of interim Superintendent of Schools Pete Backus, the board voted to restore JV-level boys and girls basketball, girls volleyball and wrestling. The vote was 4-2, with one abstention.
Backus explained that the sports are being restored with a portion of an expected grant of state pork barrel funds from State Sen. Patty Ritchie.
On Oct. 20 Halloween jack-o-lanterns and vines will be the theme of an acrylic painting workshop with Cindy Schmidt. On Oct. 27 Fire Fly Studio artists, Sandra Dowie and Marcella Slatter, will host a “Bring Your Own Pumpkin” painting workshop.
On Oct. 13, Breuda Larkin, a licensed clinical social worker, discussed her practice with the members of the Oswego Sunrise Rotary.
