Performer to Bring Imaginative ‘The Truth: A Tragedy’ to SUNY Oswego

New York City-based performance artist Cynthia Hopkins will bring her latest production, "The Truth: A Tragedy," to SUNY Oswego’s Waterman Theatre on Friday, Jan. 27.“The Truth: A Tragedy” is inspired by the cabinet of curiosities — a Renaissance precursor of the modern museum that contained highly eclectic collections. Their contents ranged from ancient artifacts and natural wonders to relics of the saints.

School District Reinstates Intramurals Program

Several elementary students make an impassioned plea to the school board to reinstate the program. Board members agree to put the program back on a two-day a week schedule for the next semester with an eye toward a longer-term option.

It was his first hike there. He thought it was, “awesome.” He spotted the carved bear as soon they got there and wanted to meet him.

Pictured is Michaud Residential Health Services Maintenance Director Jon Bergene as he puts some of the finishing touches on a renovation and remodeling project nearing completion at the skilled nursing and short-stay rehabilitation residence in Fulton.The updates ran from the cosmetic (new paint, etc.) to more substantial – new molding, window treatments and other fixtures that served to enhance the “curb appeal” and functionality of each room.
