Northern Oswego County Health Services, Inc. celebrated the upgraded facilities among its newly consolidated primary care network. The celebration centered on a ribbon cutting ceremony at its newly constructed and relocated Fulton Health Center at 510 S. Fourth St., Fulton. The event included local health care, government and community representatives who toured the new facility.
The seventh annual Oswego Kartway Classic will once again kick-off racing action during Oswego Speedway’s Budweiser International Classic Weekend on Thursday. The Kartway Classic has become a staple event for kart racers throughout New York State, and with increasing weekly kart counts at Oswego Kartway during the regular season, the Classic looks to be on its way to a record number of entries this week.
The Oswego County Legislature recognized Oswego County Soil and Water Conservation District Manager John DeHollander at their August meeting. DeHollander has devoted his 35-year career to protecting and improving Oswego County’s natural resources.

The Oswego Lions Club will hold its eighth Annual “Cow Chip Bingo” fundraiser on September 14 at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego. This year we will once again feature the “Classic Car Show” as well as Lighthouse Lanes’ “World Famous Chicken BBQ.”
The Oswego High School varsity softball parents association will host a chicken barbeque on September 15 from 11 a.m. until sold out at Gibby’s Pub, West Second and Lake streets in Oswego. The menu includes chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, a roll, and dessert.

SUNY Oswego will offer preparatory courses for the Graduate Management Admissions Test and the Graduate Record Examination on Saturdays beginning Sept. 7 at the college’s Metro Center in downtown Syracuse.
