The Oswego High School boys’ varsity basketball team earned a victory on Tuesday while the bowling team had a solid outing, several wrestlers turned in solid performances and jayvee along with modified teams were in action.
Anthony Michael Louise Jr., 75, of Fulton, died Monday December 9, 2013, at his home, Towpath Towers, Fulton.
Residents of the Fulton Mill Apartments recently gathered in their community room to hear first graders at Granby Elementary sing traditional Christmas Carols. Students sang Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas with the help of their teachers.
Second graders at Lanigan Elementary School held a math-a-thon recently to earn money to buy food for needy families in the Fulton area. Through pledges, students were able to raise $2,000, part of which was used during a shopping trip to Struppler’s Shurfine Supermarket.

Megan Mahar of Phoenix was one of 12 students inducted into SUNY Oneonta’s Edward K. Griesmer chapter of National Residence Hall Honorary, a branch of the National Association of Colleges and University Residence Halls, in November. Made up of the top 1 percent of student leaders on campus, NRHH recognizes students who have made outstanding contributions to the residence hall community.

Rotarian LaVerne Deland introduced Dale Currier at a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting. Currier, director of Emergency Management for Oswego County, gave a very detailed talk about household preparedness in case of an emergency.
