Halloween came a little early to Morningstar Residential Care Center as residents enjoyed a costume party and luncheon with family and friends. The party is the first of many Halloween themed activities that Morningstar Residential Care has planned for its residents.
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death for women, with one in eight women developing breast cancer in her lifetime. Because of barriers to service, women with disabilities tend to receive fewer breast exams and mammograms and are nearly one-third more likely to die from it compared to women without disabilities.
