If you are a junior high school student or a parent of a junior high school student, you may be interested in the New Vision programs for seniors offered through the Center for Instruction, Technology and Innovation. A parent information meeting will be held Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Sheldon Hall Ballroom on the SUNY Oswego campus for any who would like more information.

SUNY Oswego student artists will open an exhibition titled “Fantastic Architectures” with a free public reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 30, at Oswego State Downtown. The exhibition will run through March 6 at the branch of Tyler Art Gallery and the College Store, corner of West First and Bridge streets in Oswego.
Several area students completed their graduate studies last fall at SUNY Oswego and were recognized in December at the college’s Commencement.
The annual Strong Racing FUNRaiser will take place yet again at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego on February 7 beginning at 1 p.m., but with a special twist in 2015.
The Cayuga Community College Alumni Association is offering a three-day, two-night bus excursion to Washington, D.C. from April 24 to 26. Travelers will tour the National Air Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center on route to the Cambria Suites Hotel, located at the New City Market at O lifestyle center.
