To shine a light on the Common Core and the math curriculum, the Fulton City School District recently held two informational programs for parents looking to learn more about the subject. Penny Morley, Prevention Services Director of Farnham Family Services, recently spoke to the noon Fulton Rotary Club about teenage drug use in Oswego County. Statistics show that 70% of youth in Oswego County use tobacco, alcohol or marijuana before the age of 15. Penny pointed out that the hot ticket item is e-cigarettes.

Ritchie Named To Senate Task Force On Lyme, Tick-Borne Diseases

Woman Seeks Help Finding Husband’s Long-Lost Sister

On Feb. 9 or 10, (they are unsure of the exact date), Diane Bouck Allen gave birth to a little girl she named Patricia Phylis. The baby was separated from her immediately and she never knew what became of her. Now, her son and daughter-in-law are hoping OCT readers can help them connect. “My husband’s mother died in 2004 quite suddenly and many questions were left unanswered,” Kim Allen said. “We were told that she was born in Oswego Hospital.”
