Although the Brewerton Speedway is usually associated with big block modifieds, mod lites and other racing machines, the speedway will host a completely different level of competition — woolly worm racing — at the 32nd annual Lioness Club of Central Square Apple Festival Sept. 26 and 27.

Donald L. Besaw, 92, of Fulton, passed away at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, on Friday August 21, 2015.
Mary Pluff, 86, of Fulton, died peacefully on Saturday August 22, 2015, at Pontiac Care and Rehabilitation Center, Oswego.
John Martin, a bear Cub Scout in pack 888, donated 70 camper bags to Camp Rainbow of Hope. Camp Rainbow of Hope is a bereavement camp that is run by the Friends of Oswego County Hospice, Inc. and Oswego County Hospice for children to help with the loss of a loved one.
Mikey comes to the Oswego County Humane Society through United Yorkie Rescue. He’s 10-13 years old, neutered and house-trained. He gets along well with other dogs and LOVES to go for walks. Because of his age, he does have some medical issues (don’t we all?).
