State Police in Fulton responded to a one-car property damage accident on State Route 3 in the town of Palermo on SundayA(pril 24), at approximately 1:33 a.m. Upon arrival, they located a vehicle in a ditch off the north shoulder of the roadway.
On April 22 at approximately 11:17 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on Lamson Road in the town of Lysander for a traffic violation. The operator, Jeremy J. Mooney, 28, of Phoenix, was found to allegedly be intoxicated.
On April 8, at approximately 8 p.m., State Police responded to a residence in Parish for a report of an assault. The victim reported that his employees William J. Presley Jr., 37, and Matthew M. Presley, 34, of Bangall Road, Parish, had come to pick up their paychecks, and then attacked him following a denial of their request for a pay raise, according to police.
The Minetto Canal Clean Sweep volunteers met at Minetto Town Hall on Sunday. They took a group photo in front of a T-shirt wall hanging depicting the first 10 years of their participation in Canal Clean Sweep. Then, they each grabbed a garbage bag and a safety vest to start their clean up.
The New York State Public High School Athletic Association recognized many teams for academic excellence at the end of the winter sport season, the girls’ basketball and volleyball teams from Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Central School District as well as APW’s shared boys’ ice hockey team with Pulaski Academy and Central School being a few.

The Fulton Art Association has announced the winners of the tenth annual High School Invitational Art and Photography Show that was held at the Fulton Municipal Building March 12 and 13. Ninety-four students from high schools in Fulton, Hannibal, Oswego, and Phoenix school districts submitted 115 pieces of artwork in 13 categories.
