Nearly 200 SUNY Oneonta students presented original research and creative projects at the college’s 2016 Student Research and Creative Activity Day on April 20. Created to recognize and promote undergraduate scholarship and creative activity, Student Research & Creative Activity Day has become the premier on-campus event for scholarly student exhibition.
This year’s Amateur Radio General Class was a huge success. This class started out with nine inquiring applicants and settled with a group of seven very interested and focused individuals. This group attended classes from February through April.

A new orientation exhibit interpreting the history of Fort Ontario State Historic Site from the French and Indian War to the War on International Terrorism will open on Armed Forces Day, May 21. The new exhibit will be housed in the 1842 Enlisted Men’s Barracks. A public ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception hosted by the Friends of Fort Ontario will begin at 1 p.m.
