I’m sure everyone remembers statements like: ”It’s not going to cost us anything” “If they leave us a bunch of piles what did we lose? Nothing because it didn’t cost us anything”! Well I just want to interject my thoughts and ideas with some numbers for everyone to think about.
Members of the G. Ray Bodley High School Class of 2017 are reminded that the retake day for senior portraits is fast approaching. Retakes are set for August 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Students who missed their portrait sitting in June or who are having retakes done need to schedule an appointment with School Pictures of Rochester at 1-877-238-5015.

Mayor William Barlow announced today (Aug. 4) that due to severe drought conditions, the city’s ground water storage tank level is approaching a critically low level and continues to be depleted at a rate that could cause a significant health hazard if water conservation measures aren’t undertaken immediately by all water users. Mayor Barlow requests that all users of city of Oswego water, which includes the towns of Scriba and New Haven, curtail the use of water as much as possible for the next several weeks.
