Nancy M. Emmons, 75, of Oswego, passed away on Thursday September 22, 2016, at Oswego Hospital, after a long illness.
Oswego Police in conjunction with SUNY Oswego and investigators from the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles with the help of local businesses targeted underage drinking and the use of fraudulent driver’s licenses. Overnight Friday, the detail issued 24 citations for people attempting to use fraudulent driver’s licenses.

Last week we answered a question about coyotes and then this week we received an email from a kind-hearted man who had rescued a wounded cedar wax wing and wondered whether the Oswego County Humane Society could take it in. That got us thinking about wild animals in general. OCHS is not licensed as a wildlife rehabilitation agency to take in wildlife, but we do care about them and we know many of you do as well.
