Fulton Honors Veterans, Recognizes 2017 Veteran of the Year
The Fulton Veterans Council, headed by President Garry Visconti, led a well attended Veterans Day ceremony in the city of Fulton. Dozens of community residents, local elected officials, law enforcement, and veterans themselves braved the chilly winds off the Oswego River as they stood around the many flags that fly with pride at Veterans Park. The crowd then relocated to a local luncheon to recognize 2017 Veteran of the Year, Larry Macner.

Carol Burghart Wins First Prize in Sterling Festival
Carol Burghart’s painting, Lovely Shade under the Canopy of Trees, won first prize in the watercolor category at the recent Sterling Art Show. Her painting, depicting a tranquil forest scene with towering trees and lush foliage, was displayed in the Fair Haven Art Center for the contest.

Arrests Announced In Fulton Burglary
On Thursday (November 10), Fulton Police responded to a reported residential burglary at approximately 1:37 p.m. on South Eleventh Street in the city. One suspect, Dominique Loomis, was apprehended and a second fled into a wooded area. The second suspect, Michael Carroll, was later located and apprehended.
