Dr. Stuart Trust, after more than 40 years of pediatric care to thousands of families, is retiring. To celebrate and say farewell, the public is invited to a join him from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Fulton War Memorial, 609 W. Broadway.

In just one month, fans from all over the United States and Canada will make their annual pilgrimage, with campers in tow, for the Northeast’s biggest dirt racing event of the year. For the second straight year, the event returns to Oswego Speedway. But NAPA Auto Parts has been a longtime partner with Super DIRT Week, having owned the title sponsorship since 2012.
On Thursday’s early afternoon testing session for Oswego Speedway’s 61st annual Budweiser Classic Week, it was pavement racing star Bobby Santos leading the way in the Graham Racing No. 21 built by John Colloca. Santos went 16.970 on old tires in his first Supermodified appearance of the year.
Starting on September 7, Read with Ody will be at the Children’s Room from 11- 11:30 a.m. Ody will be in the Oswego Library every Thursday. Read with Ody is a great opportunity for beginner learners to spend time reading with Ody, a therapy dog who LOVES to be read to and for non-readers to be read to.
Brennan Beach RV Resort and Campers Against Cancer held a fundraiser in August. It was the first major event for the recently founded Campers Against Cancer.
CNY Arts Center celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Carol Burnett TV show with an evening of favorite comedy sketches from the popular show. The production will run September 8-17 at the Arts Center Theatre on the Cayuga College Campus at 11 River Glen Drive.
