“Each year the staff and I look forward to the Harborfest Children’s Parade,†said Oswego Health President and CEO Ann C. Gilpin. “This event gives our Sun Patrol the opportunity to provide free packets of sun screen to the public. The goal of the Sun Patrol is to educate the community on preventing sun burns that could potentially lead to melanoma, and other skin cancers.â€
Funds raised will benefit rehabilitation programs at Oswego Industries, which has been providing services to individuals with disabilities in Oswego County since 1968.
Senior business adviser Lawrence Perras and business adviser John Halleron, both based at SUNY Oswego, recently received a national award from the U.S. Small Business Administration.
If you need to visit a county office or the Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Oswego, Fulton, or Pulaski, take note: summer hours begin on Tuesday.
