Voters in the Hannibal Central School District have an opportunity to hear details about the proposed 2008-09 budget this evening. The district will put the $25,122,068 plan to a vote next week. The district opted to host a second vote after voters rejected the initial budget proposal at the polls May 20.

A Fulton man remains in custody after reportedly violating a court order of protection several times this past month. When police located 32-year-old Jason Clark, he was found at his Park Street residence, again in violation of the order. Clark’s attempts to resist arrest resulted in an additional charge.
A precautionary search of the Oswego River was conducted Thursday morning after abandoned fishing gear was found near the river’s edge in the city of Fulton.
Optimism has entered the scene for A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital. According to the New York State Health Department, a partnership with Oswego Health could mean emergency and some level of acute services would be saved in Fulton.
