Healthy Family Night Draws Hundreds to Fairley Elementary
Fairley Elementary School transformed into a massive health fair on March 3 as dozens of local health care agencies, businesses and organizations set up shop in the gymnasium for the first-ever Healthy Family Night. The event was a huge collaborative effort and a significant undertaking, according to organizer and school psychologist Geri Seward.

The department, under the leadership of manager Debbie Richardson, receives a full examination from the Oswego County Health Department twice a year.

Constellation Proudly Announces Support of Friends of Oswego County Hospice Regatta
The Friends of Oswego County Hospice is a not-for-profit organization that provides financial support and relief to hospice patients at a time when they need it most. In 2013, the organization raised nearly $27,000 and over the past 14 years, the regatta has raised more than $275,000 to defray costs of non-medical expenses for patients and families, supported the hospice volunteer program.
Crash Claims Life of Mexico Man
According to sheriff’s deputies, the crash happened at 11:25 p.m. on State Route 13 in the town of Richland, one quarter mile east of State Route 3. The one-car MVA claimed the life of the sole occupant and driver of the 2006 Chevrolet, Harry L. Bartlett Jr., 31, of 109 Sage Creek Road, Mexico.

Standing-room-only crowd turns out for Dillon music showcase
Hundreds of student musicians entertained a capacity crowd in the Emerson J. Dillon Middle School gymnasium on March 18 as part of a music showcase. “We are thrilled to be putting together this showcase for you,” music teacher Liza Grethel said. “It’s been a long time since we had a concert of this size and we’re excited to do this for you tonight.”
