Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I – Pulaski) said today a bill that would prohibit fleeing felons from obtaining public assistance has been stonewalled in the Assembly-Democratic controlled house.

On May 12 we had our annual fair planning meeting at our Richland facility. A small number attended and went over the plans for the 2012 Oswego County Fair. A full lunch was served, and soups were available through the day for an open house, as well as an evening concert.

The Fulton First United Methodist Church Choir is presenting a ham dinner from 4:30-6:30 p.m. June 1. The menu features ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, assorted drinks and desserts. The cost is $8 for adults, $7.50 for senior citizens, while children 7 and under are free.

Volunteers at Michaud Residential Health Services were guests of honor at a special luncheon at the Tavern on the Lock Restaurant and all present had the opportunity to learn about wildlife rehabilitation taking place at Kindred Kingdoms in Pennellville.
