SUNY New Paltz celebrates students for receiving a variety of different scholarships during the 2015-2016 academic year.

The Dean’s Honor List recognizes students who attain a grade point average of 3.50 or better and have no grade below C.

Each year since 2014, faculty from CCNU, a partner university of SUNY Oswego, in particular of its School of Education, have visited to advance common educational objectives.

The Pulaski Academy & Central School District is looking to make splash during the summer months by inviting students to dive into reading with members of the administrative team. In partnership with Pulaski Public Library, the district will organize several read aloud events throughout the summer.

The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.

On July 17, a pancake breakfast to help Children’s Charities will be held at Lake City Masonic Lodge No. 127 at 765 E. Seneca St. Serving will be from 8 a.m. until noon.

Kerrie Phillips of the Fulton Teachers Association presented Karrie Damn, executive director of the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County with a donation of $350. The money was raised through faculty and staff donations from those that participated in Jeans Day at all five Fulton schools.

Volunteers are a vital part of a successful Harborfest. Each year, dozens of dedicated volunteers come together in various positions to ensure that the festival runs smoothly. To show its gratitude for these incredible people, Harborfest is announcing a bike giveaway shortly preceding this upcoming festival.

The Amboy Center United Methodist Church and West Amboy Community Church invite all children to step right up to see the circus’ lion tamer, Daniel. Explore and experience God’s welcoming love at the Family Fun Day. The fun begins at 11 a.m. on August 14 at Amboy Center UMC at 1 State Route 183 in Amboy.
