“This year’s event was dubbed the ‘Lucky 13’ Bowl-A-Fun because it is taking place on April 13,” said Diane Cooper-Currier, OCO’s executive director. The ‘Lucky 13’ Bowl-A-Fun takes place from noon – 6 p.m. at Lakeview Lanes in Fulton.

Lakeside Artisans, 191 W. First St., in downtown Oswego, is offering several classes for the month of February. Michele Southgate will offer two Watercolor painting classes: February 11 from 2-5 p.m. and February 21 from 6-9 p.m.

The Dean’s List recognizes students taking at least 12 hours of academic work and attaining a semester grade point average within the range of 3.50 to 3.99.

Oswego County Sheriff Reuel Todd was re-elected trustee of the Executive Committee of the New York State Sheriffs’ Association on Jan. 23 at the 79th Annual Winter Training Conference. New York State Lieutenant Governor Robert J. Duffy swore in Sheriff Todd.

Quirk’s Players of G. Ray Bodley High School are proud to announce that they will present the classic Broadway musical Hello, Dolly!. Performances are scheduled for March 7, 8 and 9 in the Bodley H.S. Auditorium.

To be eligible for the Dean’s List at St. Lawrence University, a student must have completed at least four semester units and have an academic average of 3.6 (based on a perfect 4.0 scale) for the semester.

Oswego County Opportunities’ Services to Aid Families educator Sara Carmichael was a recent guest presenter in several classes at Sandy Creek’s Middle and High Schools. Carmichael presented separate age-appropriate presentations for eighth, tenth and twelfth graders about safe relationships during a recent week at the school.
