‘Scouting for Food’ Set November 17

On one Sunday each month First United Church of Fulton, 33 S. Third St., Fulton, continues to show, free of charge, full-length movies. This month, however, the movie will be a 1955 comedy-drama about life on the high seas during World War II fitting for the celebration of our veterans.
May we always remember our veterans and show our deep appreciation throughout the year.
The lift off assembly recognized positive behaviors and celebrated October’s character trait of Responsibility as well as honored students who have shown improvement over the past month with the “On A Roll” award.
Kay-Lee O’Brien and Amber Wilder were acknowledged in a school-wide assembly for being “On-A-Roll” which recognizes behavioral and classroom improvement during the month of October at Lanigan Elementary School.
The United Way of Greater Oswego County and DuFore’s for Diamonds will be making one lucky person’s Christmas extra special this year.
Students were chosen for the awards by their classroom teachers and were presented with certificates by Fairgrieve Elementary School Principal Jean Ciesla.
With the holidays rapidly approaching CNY Arts Center is gearing up to celebrate its first holiday season in the new facility located in the lower level of State Street Methodist Church, 357 State St., in Fulton.
Beginning November 13, Bodley High School will open Computer Lab 114 to students and parents/guardians of any student in the Fulton City School District. The lab will be open every Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. with school personnel available to assist patrons.
On November 17 and 18 the Altmar-Parish-Williamstown Junior/Senior High School Cafeteria will be the site of some hysterical, strange and mysterious happenings. Student actors, under the direction of MaryAnn House, will present “Café Murder,” a murder-mystery dessert theater, written by Nathan Hartswick.
