State Senator Patty Ritchie recently attended the Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s State of the Art Region Breakfast, held on the SUNY Oswego campus.

Apples may keep the doctor away as the old saying goes, but it won’t keep Oswego Health away from the Lioness Club’s apple festival to be held in the village of Central Square on Sept. 29 and 30.

Brookfield Renewable Energy Group has announced that the delayed minimum flow increase on the Salmon River (South) has been extended until further notice due to continued lower than normal reservoir water levels and a lack of appreciable precipitation for this time of year.

Buses destined for at least 20 merchants and seven museums in Oswego will leave the SUNY Oswego campus every half-hour from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 29, as part of the Cruisin’ the City community engagement program.

Outstanding service to undeclared and other students earned SUNY Oswego’s Major Exploration Program an award from the State University of New York and the system’s top student affairs officers.

For many in Oswego summer means a trip to Rudy’s Lakeside on “The Loop.” And what has become an “end of summer” ritual for folks at St. Luke Health Services, Rudy’s owner Carol Livesey brought all the fixings to St. Luke for a great lunch, featuring Rudy’s favorites like a fish sandwich and of course – “Texas Hots.”
