Youngsters Keep Reading All Summer Thanks To Bookmobile

Local elementary school students had the opportunity to tour the bookmobile as the academic year wound down. Emrick Benedicto reviews one of the many books that are available.

This summer the Oswego YMCA bookmobile is traveling regular weekly routes throughout the Oswego City School District providing students with opportunities to select free books they can keep and at the same time encourage continued reading.

Oswego, 1920 –1946 is the theme of the July photographic exhibit at the Oswego Public Library’s Art Gallery. Harrison Wilde created this exhibit from old albums that he purchased at an antique store (Tug Hill Antiques).
