Chicken Barbecue Memorial Benefit Set For Ken Abraham

ARC of Oswego County Visits BOCES’ Floral Design Class

The Oswego County BOCES’ floral design and greenhouse technology class had special visitors to their program recently. Several consumers of the services provided by ARC of Oswego County visited the classroom and created floral centerpieces with students enrolled in the Career and Technical Education program. ARC of Oswego County is a private, not-for-profit organization committed to meeting the needs of individual growth, productivity and independence through education, advocacy, and increased community acceptance and participation. The visitors each took home their floral creations, and students in the program gained valuable communication, listening, and customer service skills in their one-on-one encounter with their clients. Pictured above at right is Floral Design and Greenhouse Technology student Brian Richardson, (Phoenix) assisting Jim Towne with his floral creation.Several consumers of the services provided by ARC of Oswego County visited the classroom and created floral centerpieces with students enrolled in the Career and Technical Education program.
