Oswego County residents are invited to attend an open house to review the County’s new, preliminary flood maps on May 25, from 4-8 p.m. at the Oswego High School Cafeteria, 2 Buccaneer Blvd. There will be another open house on May 26 from 4-8 p.m. at the Central Square Middle School gymnasium, 248 U.S. Route 11, Central Square.

Rotary International sent 200 Shelter Boxes to Japan after the recent earthquake and tsunami. The shelter boxes contain a 10-person tent, food and water for 30 days, sleeping bags and cooking utensils.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of international Christian relief and evangelism organization Samaritan’s Purse. The project collects and distributes shoe boxes filled with small toys, schools supplies and hygiene items to children in need in more than 100 countries.
