Harrison Wilde is the featured artist this month (April) at the Oswego Public Library’s Art Gallery. One critic hailed his work because of “his keen eye that created wonderful compositions, whether he was taking photos of local scenes, or doing nature photography.” The end results were often times unique depictions of familiar scenes.

One of the most anticipated events of the spring season is almost here. On April 30, the, Oswego Christian Community School’s fourth annual auction will be held from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Oswego Armory, West First Street. Featuring both a silent auction and a live auction, the event boasts an impressive selection of items that will appeal to all ages.
The monthly committee meetings for the Oswego City School District Board of Education will be conducted on Tuesday , April 12 and Wednesday, April 13 beginning at 5 p.m. in the Education Center Board Room.

The Tutor Club will hold its annual prom dress sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at Cayuga Community College, 806 W. Broadway St., Fulton. The more than 200 donated dresses range in price from free to $30.
The money from the sale will be donated to a local charity.
World-renowned artist David Garibaldi, who performed in 2009 in Oswego, is returning this upcoming Oct. 29 to perform his live stage show “Rhythm and Hue” at a Halloween Bash fundraiser for Farnham Family Services, an Oswego-based substance abuse clinic.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County, in collaboration with the Soil and Water Conversation districts of Onondaga and Oswego counties, will be providing a workshop on April 9 to educate agricultural producers on different strategies in incorporating intensive rotational grazing on their farm.
