Mayors Lend A Hand For Meals On Wheels Day

Mayors and local officials from throughout Oswego Count showed their support for Oswego County Opportunities’ Senior Nutrition Services’ Home Delivered Meals Program recently. From left are: Dan Reynolds, volunteer driver; Hannibal Mayor, Fred Kent; Red Stoughtenger, volunteer; and Oswego County Legislator, Terry Wilbur.

The event was part of OCO’s March for Meals Campaign to raise awareness of the program and recruit as many people as possible can to OCO in the national movement to end senior hunger by 2020.

Hannibal Senior Activity Site Relocates

Rosemary Kellogg, manager of OCO’s Senior Dining and Activity Center in Hannibal and Hannibal Mayor Fred Kent’s dog, Benny, stand by the entrance to the center’s new site in the Hannibal town Hall, 824 County Route 34.

The Hannibal Senior Dining and activity Center will be at the Town Hall for a few months while renovations are taking place at its former site, the Hannibal Community Room.
