State Senator Patty Ritchie voted today for a package of bills to honor veterans, including a bill to make it more difficult for protesters to disrupt the funerals of America’s fallen heroes.
Irish writer-activists Peter Mullineaux and Moya Roddy will bring their poetry, short stories and drama to SUNY Oswego for three events that are free and open to the public as part of Artswego’s Creative Writing Series.
Maple Hollow Farm would like to invite the public for Maple Weekend Saturday and Sundays March 19-20, and March 26-27 from 10am-4pm.
The farm is located at 1309 County Route 85 in Hannibal.
Talented creative writers from Granby, Volney, Lanigan and Fairgrieve Elementary Schools in the Fulton City School District had the chance to see their work come alive this week as members of the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse incorporated their material in a performance featuring pieces submitted by New York state students in grades six through eight.
The Oswego County Department of Social Services sponsors an orientation meeting every month for people interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents. The next meeting will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 7, at Liberty Resources, 1850 Co. Rte. 57, Fulton.
