The halls echoed with school spirit at G. Ray Bodley last week as students enjoyed Raider Spirit Week.  Monday, September 29th kicked off the event with Favorite Sports Team Day, where students got to show support for their favorite sports team or player. Tuesday, students dressed up as their favorite superhero or villain, for Superhero Day. Costumes ranged from The Hulk to Superman, and some students even made up their own superheroes.

Saturday October, 25, is the date set for the third annual community “Make a Craft” Day. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be a variety of quality crafts along with instructions offered for attendees to make and take their crafts with them.

Tobacco use takes a toll on our families and communities.  Smoking kills more people than alcohol, AIDS, car crashes, illegal drugs, murders, and suicides combined.  Thousands more die from tobacco-related causes, including fires caused by smoking and diseases from smokeless tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke.

Change A Life, Starting With Your Own

Learning CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator can mean the difference between knowing how to save a life or not.  The American Red Cross knows that administering CPR AED within the first few minutes of a medical emergency is crucial to the survival of the victim.  To give the public the opportunity to learn these important lifesaving skills community classes are offered regularly at the Oswego branch office of the American Red Cross.
