Five Oswego Hospital registered nurses each volunteered an evening this summer to help support a local Cub Scout camp. The Cub Scouts, who were from throughout Oswego County and in grades kindergarten through fifth, took part in the weeknight twilight camp held at the Oswego County Airport.

Oswego Hospital recently welcomed Wajeeh Sana, MD, as Medical Director of Emergency Services. Dr. Sana attended medical school in Pakistan and completed his family medicine residency at St. Vincent’s Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, where he served as chief resident.
Oswego Health welcomes experienced Orthopedic Surgeon John Ayres, MD, to its Advanced Orthopedic Group. Dr. Ayres earned his doctor of medicine degree from New York Medical College in New York City.
Oswego Health will host a career fair for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants and graduate nurses from 4 until 7 p.m. August 5 at Alex’s on the Water, 24 E. First St.
Area students taking part in Oswego Health’s upcoming MASH Camp will learn CPR using kits donated by Emergency Consultants, Inc. During the two-day camp to be held July 29 and 30 at Oswego Hospital, the students will be taught how to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
Oswego Health will once again lead off the Harborfest Children’s Parade and offer an afternoon of fun activities for children at Franklin Square on July 24. The parade begins at Breitbeck Park at 1:30 p.m. and proceeds along West Fifth Street to Franklin Square/West Park.
