Community members caring for those with Alzheimer’s are invited to attend a free three-part program to be held December 3, 10 and 17 at 4 p.m. at The Manor at Seneca Hill in the ground floor conference room. This series is designed to provide caregivers with the knowledge, tools and strategies needed to cope with a diagnosis of Alzheimers or related dementia.

Oswego Hospital recently held its annual radiation drill in conjunction with Entergy’s James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant. Oswego Hospital holds a radiation training drill each year with officials from the local nuclear power plants, first responders and various emergency management agencies.

The Oswego Health Foundation has been presented with a generous donation from NRG’s Oswego Harbor Power that will help enable the health system to purchase a new fixed Magnetic Resonance Imaging to be installed next year at Oswego Hospital.
