Oswego Health will have convenient holiday hours at both its urgent care locations on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Central Square Urgent Care Center, located at 3045 East Ave., in Central Square, will be open both holidays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oswego Hospital’s emergency department will remain open during its normal, 24-hours a day, on both holidays.
To offer patients comfort during their chemotherapy treatments, several Oswego Hospital departments, with help from the company, Thirty-One, created 44 attractive bags that are brimming with useful and soothing supplies. There are gloves and socks to keep hands and feet warm, word search puzzles to keep the mind occupied and candy for a little treat.

At the presentation, the seniors were provided a helpful tool that readily makes their medical history and list of medications available to emergency responders, if they are summoned to a senior’s home.
Oswego Hospital will host an American Red Cross blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 29 in the healthcare facility’s lower level conference room.
