Bishop’s Commons in Oswego will host a free seminar on Estate, Medicaid and Long Term Care Planning presented by Towne, Ryan and Partners, P.C. The seminar will take place on March 22 and the public is invited to attend.
The Oswego County Historical Society is proudly celebrating the 31st annual “Not So Silent Auction” to be held on April 6 from 6 – 9 p.m. at The American Foundry at 246 W. Seneca St. in Oswego. Tickets are $20 and are available for purchase in advance and at the door the day of the event. A light buffet with refreshments is included with admission and a cash bar will be available.
The Oswego County Health Department offers a variety of services to all residents of Oswego County, including preventive health services, certified hospice, and a maternal and child health program.
The Oswego County Health Department will hold eight rabies clinics at locations around Oswego County between March and November.
All clinics will be held on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

For seniors tired of asking their children or grandchildren for technology help, Oswego Health’s Springside at Seneca Hill will host a senior technology day from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on March 16. This free event is open to seniors who find they need help operating their smartphone, iPad or laptop.
SUNY Oswego’s Rice Creek Field Station will welcome Girl Scouts from noon to 3 p.m. April 7, for an activity-filled and fun afternoon. “We are pleased to once again make this connection between Girls Scout troops and SUNY Oswego,” said Diann Jackson of Rice Creek. “The day’s activities are designed to build skills and develop a deep appreciation for nature.”
Members of the Oswego community who are interested in certifying their dog or cat to participate in PAWS of CNY’s pet therapy program are encouraged to submit an application to PAWS of CNY and book an appointment.
