From left Adyison, Emalee, Peyton, Sarah and Emily of Girl Scout Troop 10018 Pulaski/Sandy Creek, Daisy and Brownie troop display some of the Blizzard Bags they prepared for Oswego County Opportunities’ Home Delivered Meal program. The girls were joined by Pulaski Troops 10164, 10809, and 10939 and Sandy Creek Troops 10068 and 10798. Together the girls prepared 200 Blizzard Bags. The Blizzard Bag program provides clients with an emergency supply of food in the event that they are unable to receive their regular home delivered meal due to inclement weather conditions.

OCO To Prepare ‘Blizzard Bags’

In anticipation of another snowy winter season, members of Oswego County Opportunities’ Nutrition Services are preparing to make sure seniors in its Home Delivered Meals program don’t miss a meal. Each year, with the help of caring businesses, organizations and community members, OCO’s Nutrition Services prepares and distributes hundreds of “Blizzard Bags” to home delivered clients throughout Oswego County.

CNY Arts Center launches Dinner Theatre Partnership

In collaboration with the new ownership of Thunder Island, CNY Arts Center is excited to announce an expansion into dinner theatre pairing dinner and a show at the Oasis Room at Thunder Island, 21 Wilcox Road. On December 15, 16 and 17, the Arts Center will present A Tribute to Walt: a Culinary Cabaret, under the direction of Adam Schmidtmann.
