Ethan Lenhart of Williamstown to Perform in Crane Opera Ensemble and Orchestra Production

The award-winning Crane Opera Ensemble and Orchestra at SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music is set to present an uproarious double-bill, bringing together Giacomo Puccini’s comic opera in one act, “Gianni Schicchi,” combined with the modern sequel, “Buoso’s Ghost,” by contemporary composer Michael Ching, from Nov. 16 to 18. The cast and orchestra includes Ethan Lenhart of Williamstown, who will be playing the role of the Magistrate’s guard.

CNY Arts Center announces auditions for the first play of the 2018 season, The Curious Savage, directed by Dana Thomas. Auditions for the entertaining comedy written by John Patrick will be held November 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., November 13 and 14 from 6:30 – 9 p.m. The production is slated to run February 9-18, 2018, at the Arts Center, 11 River Glen Drive on the Cayuga College Fulton Campus.

Integrated Community Planning of Oswego County, Inc., recently recognized its 30th anniversary as a non-profit agency in Oswego County. ICP commemorated this milestone with a celebration held at the Oswego YMCA last week. Getting its start as the Oswego County Child Care Council in 1987, ICP has evolved over the past 30 years, becoming incorporated into ICP in 2001, expanding its vision and scope, and broadening its programs and services to the community.
