Perhaps the most notable improvement at the elementary school is the construction of a student drop-off circle at the north end of the parking lot which allows students to enter the building without having to cross the school bus loop.
Students in the Oswego City School District are continuing to find success and enhance their educational opportunities with expanded access to advanced courses as a result of a partnership with Cayuga Community College. Nearly 100 students are set to earn a combined 330 credit hours this semester through the Cayuga Advantage Program.

On October 13, Reality Check youth of Oswego, Onondaga and Cayuga counties will come together to take action with a unified Seen Enough Tobacco message aimed at educating the community about the tobacco industry’s manipulative marketing practices. The message is centered around the number 13, in that the average age of a new smoker in New York State is 13 years old.
The Upstate New York Chapter of the Association of Prospect Researchers for Advancement has elected Joe Stabb the newest board member for the chapter. He will serve an elected two-year term. He is an assistant professor at SUNY Oswego, teaching courses in public relations, leadership, and social media management.
