Teen Idol Conrad Birdie comes to CNY Arts Center in the classic musical Bye Bye Birdie August 4 through 13 at the Theatre located at 11 River Glen Drive on the Cayuga College Fulton Campus. August 4, 5, and 11 start at 8 p.m., while matinees on August 6, 12 and 13 start at 3 p.m.

Oswego County students in need of school supplies will find it easier to get ready for school thanks to the United Way of Greater Oswego County Stuff-A-Bus campaign. The Stuff-A-Bus campaign, which is currently underway, was initiated to collect school supplies so that children in need throughout Oswego County would have the supplies they need to begin the new school year.

The following students have made the Dean’s List for the 2017 Spring Semester at Le Moyne College in Syracuse. To make the list, students must achieve a 3.5 or above.
The department will host an informational meeting from 9 to 11 a.m. Aug. 5, at the DSS office, 100 Spring St., Mexico, for people who are interested in becoming foster or adoptive parents. All children available for adoption through DSS have been in foster care for a period of time.
At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Linda Rossiter introduced Dawn Myers, program coordinator at the Fulton Public Library. Myers gave an overview of everything that’s going on at the library from the Summer Reading Program for children to adult activities such as jewelry making, knitting and basket weaving.
